With technology rapidly developing and with competition offering their services to mobile customers, it seems like no better time for Paddy Power to expand into the mobile market.
An article in eGaming Review reported that Paddy Power has chosen Sweden’s Mobenga mobile to be the phone to provide a betting section which will be built in to offer customers updates and unique features on televises sports.
The applications follows shortly after the iPhone has released a sportsbook application and only time will tell how successful Paddy Power will be from this development. The application will also help keen punters use a simple interface to link directly to their favourite sporting events.
A spokesman from Paddy Power’s mobile team explained, “We are seeing more PC customers using our mobile application or mobile website due to the convenience offered by those services. We continually strive to extend and improve our mobile services so that anything a customer needs is just a finger tap away.”
