Online bookies open odds for Owen Hull move
Is Owen going to Hull? William Hill has opened odds at 11/2 for a possible move to the club.
However, the move may not be such a great idea according to Graham Sharpe, William Hill’s spokesman, “A move to Hull would definitely be perceived as a backward step for a player of Michael Owen’s quality and you’d have to think he’d be desperate to get a place with a side with genuine European aspirations, otherwise his career could be in freefall.”
Aston Villa seems to be the favourite club for the player to move to, with odds currently at 2/1 with Owen staying at Newcastle at 16/1.
