Mayweather vs. Mosley Odds
Floyd Mayweather is to fight Shane Mosley on 1st May in Las Vegas. Sky bet has seen some early support for ‘pretty boy’ to win on points forcing the online sportsbook to cut odds from 7/4 to 6/4.
Sky Bet make the undefeated Mayweather the favourite at 4/11, with Mosley, who hasn’t fought since last January with his controversial stoppage victory over Antonio Margarito is the 2/1 outsider. The draw is priced at 33/1.
Sky Bet’s boxing betting spokesman Scott Springgay said: “This fight promises to be a cracker and even though Mosley hasn’t fought for over a year this should turn out to be one of the hardest fights of Mayweather’s career.
“Defensively, Mayweather is superb and we have already seen plenty of money for him to win on points even at this early stage. Both will have a point to prove and I can see this fight being stopped around the late rounds, probably with the younger Mayweather’s fitness counting and forcing the referee to stop the fight.”
